They say, Doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results is the definition of crazy.
Well trying to teach Mr. Lukai his colors
is indeed driving me crazy.
So I brilliantly thought of trying a new approach....
Something that allows him to MOVE.
A Color Scavenger Hunt in the Yard
And Everyone has to participate....
Um, no Lukai that is not 'Blue'.....
We slowly got better as the afternoon progressed.
Everyone needed a Change of Pace today ~
Blow off some steam, some pressure
with 'Someone' being away for a long time ~ again.
'Someone' has been in China 6 months over the past 12 months ~
Yes, Lukai you're bicycle shorts ARE pink *sigh*
Still with energy to burn! ~ Bring out the eggs and spoons
Interesting ~ the bundle of never stopping energy can be VERY still if he wants to. *must remember to bring eggs everywhere.....
Well lets just keep this going shall we ~ bring on the 3 legged race
Sadly the Wheelbarrow race didn't make it out of the Starting Gate ~ But Lukai did get a mouthful of cut grass though!
Army Crawl y'all!
Crab Walk Races!
I don't even know what this is called,
but it ended in tears....Ping's tears,
and looking a the photos ~ I see why! LOL
And My personal favorite ~ Egg Toss.
Take a step back!
One handed Catch! Way to go Dawson!
The mischievous grin ~ hatching a plan
And .5 seconds later the game ended.
Homeschooling IS fun! Go figure!
We started trying to learn colors,
and ended up just having a tonne of fun.
Something I needed today.
*looking at these photos I think I need to work 'raking' into tomorrow's lesson plan.
What a fun day! Loved all the pictures!ReplyDelete
