Lukai Photo Album

So, instead of posting a thousand photos in a thousand posts, I'm setting up a web album slide show.
Hopefully this will work for everyone.  If you are having problems seeing the pictures, please let me know.
The goal is that as I update the album with pictures, this slide show should automatically update... and then everyone can see the new pictures here.

  1. Hey all, I've consolidated all the photos into this album here - so I took down all the other posts. I'm reposting all the comments from the other posts under here as well - that way no ones thoughts get lost.

Congratulations! He is such a cutie and seems very happy go lucky. Here's hoping for a smooth transition for the whole family.

It's great that you HAVE so many photos. I know for us the time at the Civil Affairs office was so chaotic and emotional we didn't get a lot of photos. Oh, we got some, but now, 20 months later, it seems very few. Congratulations on your newest family member. By the way, when in the paperwork and waiting phase, I thought "Gotcha Day" was fine. After we experienced it, I don't think I've used the phrase since. Now I say something like, "when we were united with Emmalyne" or some such thing. It's more of a mouthful, but somehow seems more respectful. Gotcha is all playful and joyous, but the truth is the day is bittersweet as a parent, and just painful as the young child. Perhaps for an older child who understands and wants what is happening it's appropriate. Anyway, I'm looking forward to more updates.

I agree...Delivery Day sounds much better. I've been looking for something better than "gotcha" - I'm going to borrow it (but I'll give you full credit).
He's gorgeous and as we are celebrating our "Delivery Day" 2 year ago, you are doing it again on almost the same day. Hey...at least you have twice the chance of remembering the date now!
    Congratulations to all of you!

Loving the pictures!!!!! We are soooo very happy for your family. Lukai will eventually realize what a special family he is a member of. I am also soooo very with you on the "Gotcha Day" thing. For some reason that name has always struck me as inappropriate somehow (just my opinion). I have always called it "the very special day that we first met Clarissa". I have many more thoughts on that, but I will save that for a post on my site. This is such an amazing day for the Berzenjis!
